Done preparing for the ride

I'm tired of packing, or more accurately tired to thinking about packing. What I've got will have to do. I've been telling myself that for a few days now, but I think it's final. Amtrak called to say the train is expected to arrive in Seattle 2 hours late because of repairs in Oregon, but after 10 minutes of research they told me the bus to Vancouver will wait until we get there. I researched and almost switched to flying, but decided this was still my best chance to try out the train travel that has always appealed to me.

I stopped in the bike shop today to buy rain covers for David and my handlebar bags. I'm going with the belief that the more I spend on rain gear, the less rain we will see. And that concludes my preparation.
