But we finally got into the hotel about 3 AM, and spent today putting David's bike back together, and then taking it to the bike shop so they could make it actually work, as opposed to just being together. Got to ride around Stanley Park, buy some Canadian logo bike wear, and eat some Roger's Chocolate. All in all a great day, and I'm getting pretty excited about hitting the road on Tuesday. The weather forecast looks too good to be true.

Hanging in Vancouver
34 hours from door (of the house when we headed out for dinner on the way to the train station) to door (of the hotel in Vancouver). Taking the train was my idea, and I completely enjoyed the experience - like I enjoy reading or seeing a good movie - but as a pure transportation alternative it's petty hard to defend compared to a 2 hour flight.

Jon,
I don't know Roger, but would you eat a piece of his chocolate for me too? I prefer Dark. Thanks,
Jan
Jon, Accoreding to David's GPS you are about 4 miles from Emily in Bellingham. Hope to see you soon. Doug D.
