That was a rest day?

As we were biking the last of Washington on our way to Astoria Sunday, we discussed taking a rest day in Astoria. Maybe riding 20 miles or so of flat to Seaside the next day at the most. But the weather was too good to sit around, the high in Astoria was something like 78 degrees. So first we did the 20 mile of flat. Then we decided to go another 20 and knock off a couple of hills so we'd have them behind us the next day. When we got to the bottom of those, it was still early enough and on 25 more mile of flat to Tillamook. They weren't as flat as advertised, but we had a 15 MPH tailwind for a significant part of it so it wasn't a particularly hard ride. And by the end of the day we had done 65 miles on our rest day. But my body wasn't fooled, it knows that was not a day of rest.
